It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Oh my gosh, it's a cold, windy, freezy night out there, with the temp at 28 degrees. But I have the furnace on high and I'm warm and cozy in my little apartment at Fox Lake. It was WONDERFUL to see Nicole in Ohio and spend some time with her family and friends. Had a great time. Nicole is a beautiful pregnant lady and Jared is one lucky fella. John has officially moved to his own place and Sam came over Saturday night with his girlfriend, Ashley (what a sweet girl!) and we're all looking forward to Christmas in Georgia. I was kind of late on checking out Jack Slade and his post shots interview, but what a brave little boy. Thanks, Katie, for sharing that with everyone. I had tears in my eyes. Can't wait to see Jenna, Brett, and especially Kayleigh soon. And, of course, my beautiful nieces, Jordan and Jessie. Stay warm, everybody, and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

Hello, everyone! Looking forward to seeing everyone at Christmas. We will be arriving Saturday night...I can't pick up the rental car at the airport until 9:00 a.m. Looking forward to seeing all my family and so are Sam and John. Also, I'll be seeing Nicole next Sunday when I hop on the Ohio turnpike and drive to her baby shower brunch. Gonna rub her tummy! I'll put in a few extra rubs from the rest of the family, too.

Love you all,

Aunt Lynn

Thought I'd just post again, just to say hello to everyone. Not a whole lot going on in this boring life of mine, but you know boring is good! John is living with me temporarily, but looking for a place of his own. He spends his weekends working long hours at the paintball place, managing and acting as referee. He loves it! Sam still lives in Kendallville and works at Exotic Aquatics, selling beautiful fish and spreading his knowledge about them to the customers. He has a girlfriend, Ashley, and she seems very nice. He calls me almost every Sunday to say a quick hello and to let me know he hasn't starved yet. He seems happy and that's all I can hope for.
I pray for Mom and Lane every night and know that they have many people who love them and pray for them. I'd like to say thank you to Janet for being such a good daughter to Mom.
Love you all.

It's a beautiful October day!

  1. Hello, and thanks to Mrs. Nicole Wike, I created by own blog. I'm just getting started in this techo stuff, so don't have the capability to post pictures yet, but maybe sometime soon. I used fox lake family because indiana family was already taken. Anyway, I just signed a two year lease for my apartment on beautiful Fox Lake, so it will be good for at least that long. It's wonderful to be able to see pictures of all of you and stay in touch with what's happening, especially with all the beautiful babies being born! I wish I could be there at Thanksgiving, but I'll strive for next year. I can't wait to see the family at Christmas. Best to you, Nicole and Jared, while you await the arrival of sweet Ava Claire Wike. Three new cousins!....Kayleigh, Jack, and Ava. I've threatened Sam and John with kidnapping if they don't plan to going to Georgia with me at Christmas, so they will be there with me to see Grandmother, their cousins Jordan, Jessie, and Jack, and to see their second cousin, Kayleigh. Whew!! I continue to work at the nursing home as Director of Nursing and, although it can be very stressing, it is also very satisfying. I think they couldn't find another sucker to do the job! Anyway, pray for me as I take care of the old people. Love you all,
Lynn
